“Big Mike’s Sacs for Life” is the first endeavor to do good in Michael’s name.  In 2017 a month after Michael’s death, Candy came up with the idea, and we sold “Thirty-One Cinch Sacs” and filled them with toys, coloring books, games, and other fun things for kids to do.We then took them to the University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and donated them to Dr. Koschmann for the children and families in the hospital for treatment, or due to symptoms, or progression.  We made up cinch Sacs for children, teens, and even parents.  I know how hard an unexpected stay at the hospital can be, and we just wanted to make it a little easier. We now do this on an annual basis and it is one of our favorite ways to support children and their families.
